Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances
In accordance with Article 25 of the Beijing Treaty, the treaty remained open for signature at the headquarters of WIPO for one year after its adoption on June 26, 2012, that is, until June 24, 2013.
Syria deposited with WIPO its instrument of ratification in March 2013, making itself the first contracting party to the Beijing Treaty. Subsequently, Botswana, Slovakia and Japan deposited with WIPO their instruments of ratification or accession in November 2013, May 2014 and June 2014 respectively.
As of June 24, 2013, the 74 eligible parties listed below had signed the Beijing Treaty.

Botswana signed the Beijing Treaty in October 2012.
Honduras signed the Beijing Treaty in October 2012.
Uganda signed the Beijing Treaty in October 2012.
El Salvador signed the Beijing Treaty in November 2012.
Bulgaria signed the Beijing Treaty in December 2012.
Guatemala signed the Beijing Treaty in May 2013.
The UK signed the Beijing Treaty in June 2013.
Sweden signed the Beijing Treaty in June 2013.
Finland signed the Beijing Treaty in June 2013.
Ireland signed the Beijing Treaty in June 2013.
