On April 26th, the 18th World Intellectual Property Day, National Copyright Administration (NCAC) held 2018 National Conference on Copyright Protection in Digital Environment in Beijing. Representatives from administrative agencies, judicial system, copyright industry, academic community, and law practitioners attended the conference. Under the theme of Protecting Creation and Promoting Utilization, the attendees discussed extensively on creation, protection and utilization of online copyright.

Memorandum on Cooperation in Copyright Protection in Digital Environment signed between the Copyright Department of NCAC, the Monitoring Centre of CSC, and MIGU Co., Ltd.
Relevant themes were also discussed including new technology transformation and innovation in copyright in digital environment, copyright protection and norms for short videos and animations and “Her Power” for copyright in digital environment in new era.
