China Audio-Video Copyright Association (CAVCA) was established in December 2005, approved by NCAC on May 28, 2008. CAVCA was initiated by a large number of audio-visual copyright owners and established by China Audio-Video Association,

The responsibilities for rights management of CAVCA are: the right of presentation of phonograms created by a process analogous to cinematography, the right of performance, the right of broadcasting, the right of rental, the right of communication through information network, the right of reproduction and the right of distribution authorized by right holders; and among the related rights of audio-video products, the right of rental, the right of communication through information network, and the right of reproduction and the right of distribution authorized by right holders.
